In 1969, under the presidership of the Apostle Hubert J. Spencer, Mother Ruby Duke, a native of Seguin, Texas, was appointed National Missionary President. Mother Duke's tenure of office lasted until 1972. She departed this life on Sunday, March 15, 1981.

Bishop R. C. Lawson appointed Mother Delphia Perry, a native of Fredericksburg, Virginia, to fill the vacant office of National Missionary President. Her tenure as National Missionary President last until her death on June 29, 1969.

Mother Ora Waid of New York City was appointed National Missionary President. Mother Waid served as National Missionary President until her death on November 25, 1951 following a train accident while on a mission traveling through Woodstock, Alabama. Mother Waid was a native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
